A nude photograph of Madonna will go under the hammer at Christie's auction house in London next month.
The picture, taken in 1979 by American photographer Lee Friedlander, is expected to raise $15,000.
Madonna posed for Friedlander for $25 after responding to an advert in the newspaper. The picture was taken before she established herself as the 'Queen of Pop'.
Matthieu Humery, head of Christie's photography department, told the BBC the image was "probably the most explicit" of Friendlander's photographs of the star.
The picture of Madonna was originally sold along with five others to Playboy for an undisclosed fee.
