Terry Reid is to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The man that recommended Robert Plant to Jimmy Page will return to the festival after a 34 year absence, after performing at 1971’s legendary Glastonbury Fayre, reports Efestivals.
The booking came about after a Glastonbury town resident Steve Mansbridge saw Reid perform in Los Angeles last summer and then recommended him to Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis. Mansbridge said: "Michael is a Terry fan as well and immediately remembered his 1971 performance".
Terry Reid released ‘River’ in the early 1970’s and has working with the likes of Cream, The Rolling Stones and Graham Nash.
