Boy George has been told to expect jail when he is sentenced in London today (January 16th).
The former Culture Club star was last month found guilty of falsely imprisoning a male escort in his East London home.
Audun Carlsen claims the singer, whose real name is George O’Dowd, chained him up to a wall in his house in Shoreditch in April 2007.
Judge Radford told O'Dowd at Snaresbrook Crown court in December that he would "likely" face jail.
“The fact that your bail is being continued does not imply that this will be dealt with by a non-custodial sentence,” he said. "I don't want any false expectations created."
O'Dowd has kept a relatively low profile since being found guilty. However, the singer did perform two special London gigs shortly before Christmas.
The concerts at the Pigalle Club saw Boy George showcase all of the hits from his career.
