The Zutons have been dropped by their record label following a string of disappointing releases, it's been reported.
The band are understood to have parted company with SonyBMG over Christmas.
The Zuton's third album 'You Can Do Anything' received mixed reviews from the music press, while their last single, 'What's Your Problem', failed to make the UK top-40.
According to the Daily Star, the band's label were disappointed that their new material failed to sell well despite Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson's high profile cover of The Zuton's hit, 'Valerie', in 2007.
The duo's version of the song has made 'Valerie' one of this decade's best-selling releases.
It's unclear whether the band, who have no future tour dates scheduled, plan to continue.
