Editors Third Album 'Perfect Listening For Foxes'
Editors have revealed that their latest material will be ideal for foxes to listen to.
The band's bassist Russell Leetch said the group had already demoed ten songs and have another ten ready to rehearse.
“The record feels like that hour in the night when the foxes are abundant and the lights are low, driving past the frozen disused warehouses,” he wrote on the band's website.
Leetch also confirmed reports that the band's new direction was “more electronic” than previous material.
“We've been putting the songs together with different sounds from old and new synths, and not just relying on guitars,” he explained.
But Leetch warned fans to "be patient" because they haven't started recording the new songs yet.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Editors frontman Tom Smith revealed recently that the band have been listening to the Terminator theme tune for inspiration.
