Lily Allen has said she is “to busy” to do a second series of her BBC3 chat show, Lily Allen and Friends.
The broadcaster commissioned another series of the programme, which is based on a social-networking concept, last April.
However, Allen told the Sun newspaper that she is currently preoccupied with promoting her second album, which is due next month.
“I loved doing the series and I’m definitely interested in discussing ideas in the future,” she added.
The singer had to defend early episodes of the TV show in 2007 after reports claimed that the audience had walked out.
BBC3 commissioner Ben Cohen said the entertainment channel was currently searching for a replacement.
“I’m hopeful we’ll find something else. We have irons in the fire,” he said.
Allen's new album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', is released on February 9th.
