Morrissey has hinted that his forthcoming album, 'Years Of Refusal', could be one of his last.
In an interview with Filter, the former Smiths star said he wanted to avoid overstaying his welcome in the music industry.
“I don’t want to go on much longer, really. I think that would suggest a lack of imagination. A certain lack of dignity also,” he said.
“There has to reach a point where you’ve said enough, I think.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Morrissey revealed last October that he had considered writing an autobiography.
He said he hoped the book would correct the “silly” stories that have been written about him.
'Years of Refusal' is released in the UK on February 16th. Click here to read Gigwise's world exclusive first listen.
