Damon Albarn will debut material from Gorillaz' forthcoming new album on BBC Radio 1 this week.
The Blur frontman will play the demos when he guest hosts DJ Zane Lowe's evening show on Wednesday (January 14th).
The virtual band are understood to be releasing the follow up to 2005's 'Demon Days' in late 2009.
Other musicians scheduled to deputise for Lowe include Lily Allen, Friendly Fires and Razorlight.
The guest takeover began yesterday (January 12th) with The Prodigy.
