Reading And Leeds Fans Told To Avoid Fake Ticket Websites

Organisers issue statement...

Organisers of the Reading and Leeds festivals have told fans to avoid websites which claim to have tickets for the 2009 edition of the event.

In a statement, organisers Festival Republic said they wanted to “make it clear that no tickets are currently available” for either festival.

Both the Reading and Leeds festivals are due to take place from August 28th-30th.

Organisers have been made aware of two websites that currently claim to have tickets for both legs of the festival.

But in a short statement, they said: "The sites are not official and have no access to tickets for this year's event.”

  • @Gigwise It's because the only way they could get Dave Rowntree to play the drums was to hypnotise him. Too strenuous otherwise, poor chap.
