BAFTA award-winning actress Tilda Swinton is to appear on Patrick Wolf's new album, 'Battle'.
The actress has recorded a special spoken word narrative which is included on four tracks.
Wolf, a long-term fan of the actress, approached Swinton with a CD and hand written note after the premiere to her movie, 'Julia', last year.
After listening to the CD, the actress expressed her desire to collaborate with the singer.
Speaking about Wolf, she said: “My feeling is that we almost certainly come from the same planet: kith and kin.
“His music feels like the unexpressed soundtrack of a great film I want to see - and try to catch every night before I go to sleep. It's a lovely thing to be a part of that magical landscape.”
Wolf's fourth album will be released via Bandstocks.
