US rapper Dr Dre is understood to have been left “furious” after a song from his long awaited new studio album leaked online.
An unmixed version of 'Could Have Been You', which features 50 Cent and R&B star R Kelly, emerged on the internet on Wednesday.
The song is one of the first tracks fans have heard from Dr Dre's forthcoming album, 'Detox', which has been beset by production delays.
Dr Dre's label Interscope refused to comment on the leak, but source told MTV that the rapper was outraged that a track pencilled for the album had leaked so far ahead of release.
The leak comes in the same week that a song from Eminem's new album, 'Relapse', also appeared online.
The song, which features a guest appearance from Dr Dre and 50 Cent, is understood to be the first single.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Dr Dre was was forced to put his own album on hold in order to produce Eminem's new effort.
