Kanye West's Mother's Surgeon Jailed For A Year

Dr Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West's mother shortly before she died, has been jailed for drunken driving.

Adams pleaded no contest to the charge in 2008. He has been sentenced to one year in prison.

The plastic surgeon was spotted by police driving the wrong way along an interstate in Cordelia in June last year.

Adams performed a series of surgeries on West's mother, Donda, a day before she died in November 2007.

Last January, an LA coroner ruled that West's mother died of “multiple post-operative factors” coupled with heart disease.
