James Bond actor Daniel Craig has joked that he wouldn't be able to play Oasis's Noel Gallagher in a film because he is a better guitarist than the musician.
Gallagher was quoted as saying recently that he “wouldn't be adverse” to making a film about Oasis – and casting Craig as himself.
But the Bond actor told the Sun newspaper: “I can play the guitar better than Noel can so I don’t know how that is really going to work.”
In an interview last year, Gallagher said Craig would only be allowed to play him if Oasis could record the next James Bond theme.
He also said that he would like to see either Julian Clary or Jeremy Kyle play his brother, Liam.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Oasis paid tribute to Craig when the actor watched them perform at a gig in London last October.
"James Bond is upstairs, I might see if I can blag it so that he can get me the next James Bond theme tune instead of ****ing dopey Americans doing it all the time,” Gallagher told the audience.
