The music world will this year mark the 40th anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's infamous 'bed in'.
The couple's protest in 1969 is just one of 50 landmark anniversaries set to take place in 2009.
The 40th anniversary of the release of Led Zeppelin's debut album will also arrive this year, while 2009 will mark 30 years since the Clash released 'London Calling'.
