Country Star Billy Ray Cyrus Sends 'Prayers' To John Travolta

Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has said his “thoughts and prayers” are with John Travolta following the sudden death of the actor's son.

16-year-old Jett Travolta was found unconscious at the family's holiday home in the Bahamas last week.

Cyrus, the father of teenage sensation Miley, told E! Online: "Our thoughts and prayers are with John and his family.

“They're great human beings and strong people. And, again, our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family."

Cyrus's comments follow a Travolta family statement, which said: "We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives."

Jett, who was on holiday with Travolta, his mother, Kelly Preston, and his sister had a history of seizures. A post-mortem is expected to be carried out this week.
