Gigwise is excited to announce that today we are launching a new competition called King Of The Mountain for unsigned bands to win the opportunity to play at this year's Snowbombing in Mayrhofen, Austria.

The competition will run for the next couple of months and will eventually see four bands travelling to the Alps to battle it out for the King Of The Mountain crown plus a coveted support slot for one of the headline acts and 2000 Euros in cash.

More details about how you can enter your band can be found on the King Of The Mountain home page along with all the acts that have entered so far.

The closing date for entries is January 31st, after which a panel including judges from Gigwise and Snowbombing will pick out our favourite 20 acts who will then be put forward to a public vote.
