Florence & The Machine, Gabriella Cilmi To Headline BRIT Awards Launch

Florence & The Machine and Gabriella Cilmi will headline the BRIT Awards Nominations launch party at London's Roundhouse on January 20th.

The event, hosted by presenter Fearne Cotton, will feature the live announcement of the nominees for the 2009 BRIT Awards.

Coldplay, Duffy and Take That are among those expected to be shortlisted for awards.

Categories this year include Best British Album, Group and Breakthrough Act, as well as a host of international awards.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Florence & The Machine has already been chosen as this year's BRIT Awards' Critics' Choice.

The up-and-coming singer will join a host of big name stars when she collects her prize at Earls Court on February 18th.
