Elton John, Alexandra Burke's New Years Concert Hit By Slow Ticket Sales

Sir Elton John’s New Years Eve party in London has been hit by slow ticket sales.

Tonight’s (December 31st) concert at the O2 Arena is scheduled to feature Will Young and X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

Organisers have begun offering four tickets for the price of three in a bid to offload the remaining tickets.

It's thought the current global financial crisis could be to blame for the slow down.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Sir Elton is understood to have requested a helicopter pad so that he can fly to the venue.

Tickets for the gig are on sale now and available through Gigwise.
