US rapper DMX faces jail after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges of drug possession, theft and animal cruelty.
The rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, pleaded guilty in a court in Arizona yesterday (December 30th) as part of a deal to settle three cases.
He also agreed not to possess firearms or own any animals.
Simmons has been arrested on several of occasions throughout 2008.
Earlier this month, police entered a warrant for the rapper's arrest after he missed a court appearance in Arizona.
Simmons was later tracked down to an island off the coast of Florida.
The rapper is due to remain in jail until sentencing on January 30th when he faces a minimum term of 90 days.
If Simmons violates the conditions of his probation after his jail term, he could face ten years in prison.
