Groove Armada will headline Scotland's Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh tonight (December 31st).
The dance duo will be joined by Glasvegas, Hot Chip and Belle and Sebastian at the outdoor street party.
Paolo Nutini is also due to appear at the Concert in the Gardens.
The singer told the BBC: “I just like the mood that it gets everybody in. Everybody seems to hear New Year and it opens everybody up.
"Maybe if the year wasn't so great for the person it gives them a bit of hope that the next one's going to be better and people celebrate that."
Nutini will get a police escort to Glasgow where is due to perform another show before midnight.
Last year, Edinburgh welcomed in the New Year with a performance from Kasabian, who were joined onstage by Oasis' Noel Gallagher.
Forecasters are predicting subzero temperatures tonight and have advised people braving the cold to wrap up warm.
