Kanye West Slams 'Stupid' Spiritual Chanting Reports

US rapper Kanye West has hit back at suggestions he has begun chanting spiritual songs in order to improve his singing voice.

Tabloid reports yesterday (December 29th) also claimed the rapper was hopeful the chanting would ward of evil spirits.

However, in a post on his blog, West said the claims were “just stupid”.

Writing in capital letters, West said: “DO I SEEM LIKE A CHANTER??!! DO I EVEN HAVE TIME TO BE SITTING AROUND DOING THAT??? 

“WHY YOU GOTTA MESS UP MY VACATION WITH STUPID SHIT???  YOU COULD'VE WAITED TWO MORE DAYS... HAAHAAAAA”

The rapper also defended his frequent use of capital letters and exclamation marks on his blog after various publications said the choice of punctuation made him look angry.

“I'M TYPING IN ALL CAPS CAUSE I'M LAZY NOT ANGRY!!!" West wrote. “OH, AND EXCLAMATION POINTS ARE FUN! HAHAHAAA!!!
