Sir Paul McCartney is keen to work on material with The Killers, according to reports.
The former Beatle is understood to have approached the band about a collaboration after watching them perform at the Royal Albert Hall last month.
"Paul had a great time at the gig. He loves their music and their great attitude,” a source told The Sun newspaper.
"He was as pleased to meet them as they were to meet him but they were gobsmacked when he said he'd love to do something with them music-wise."
Killers frontman Brandon Flowers revealed recently that McCartney had confronted the band wearing an Alice Cooper mask.
“He was wearing the mask and dancing around. Then he took off the mask and introduced himself,” Flowers said.
