Amy Winehouse has agreed to give her relationship with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, a second chance, according to reports.
The singer is said to have phoned Fielder-Civil during her festive holiday in the Caribbean.
A source told the Mirror newspaper that Winehouse will fly back to the UK before the New Year in order to visit her husband in prison.
"Being with local families has made Amy realise just how much she missed Blake,” they said.
"He was her inspiration for [Winehouse's second album] 'Back To Black', and being apart makes her realise how much she loves him."
Reports about Winehouse and Fielder-Civil’s relationship have been rife since he was sent back to prison earlier this month for breaching the conditions of his bail.
The former TV runner was sentenced to 27 months in prison last July after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a pub landlord and perverting the course of justice.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse has spent much of the Christmas holidays on the island of St Lucia.
