US rapper Kanye West has spoken about his desire to design clothing for American president-elect Barack Obama.
The rapper, who owns his own clothing line, Pastelle, said he could work on Mr Obama’s more casual wear.
“I could design something for Obama to go to the club in. But I don’t know if I’m ready for suits and stuff,” he told the Sun newspaper.
West, who is due to formally launch Pastelle in the New Year, added: “Fashion is just my love. It’s something that I want to do for the rest of my life.
“I picked my own outfit out in kindergarten.”
West was one of a number of musicians who endorsed Mr Obama during his campaign to become American’s first black president.
