Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has revealed that the band were left stranded in America earlier this week when their tour bus broke down in heavy snow.
“Disaster struck last night. The ****in' bus broke down. Four hours kip was all we got 'til we ground to a halt in the middle of nowhere. Pitch-black and snowing sideways,” Gallagher wrote on the band's website.
“Nightmare. I can safely say, "I bet that's never happened to Bono,” he added.
Thankfully, despite the “disaster”, Gallagher said he didn't “sweat it” as he and the others on his tour bus switched to another vehicle.
He wrote: “We're on the way to NYC, baby, and Neil Young's playing tonight. Can't wait. I ****in' love that cat (and I'll tell him as much if we get to speak to him later).
Oasis are scheduled to play two more US dates – in Camden and Washington – before Christmas. You can see highlights from the tour on Gigwise below.
