Madonna's latest single has failed to chart inside the UK top-20 for the first time in the singer's career.
'Miles Away', taken from her 2008 album 'Hard Candy', only managed to make number 39 in the UK charts this week.
The song is the worst selling single of Madonna's 24-year career.
Although the singer's 1984 single 'Borderline' only initially made it 56, when it was re-released two years later it peaked at number two.
Despite poor record sales, Madonna has has continued to wow crowds around the world on her Sticky & Sweet tour, which will have grossed an estimated $282million when it concludes later this month, making it the biggest ever by a solo artist.
Her 28-date trip across the US alone grossed $91.5million thanks to 550,000 ticket sales.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Madonna and her former husband Guy Ritchie earlier this week called reports about their divorce settlement “misleading and inaccurate”
In a joint statement, the couple said their were both “happy” with their settlement but added the agreement would “remain private”.
Madonna and Ritchie responded after the singer's US publicist said she had agreed to pay Ritchie nearly £50million as part of their divorce.
