Former Radio 1 DJ Andy Kershaw has been given a six month suspended prison sentence after he breached a restraining order.
Kershaw was taken into custody on the Isle of Man on Monday (December 15th) after he broke a ban preventing him from contacting his former partner.
During an appearance at the High Bailiffs Court yesterday (December 16th), Kershaw was found guilty of the offence and given a suspended prison sentence.
He must also attend anger management, and drug and alcohol courses as part of a supervision order, the judge said.
In January, Kershaw was jailed for contacting Juliette Banner, the mother of his two children. But the DJ was arrested again just three days after serving a 44 day sentence.
The DJ was advised by the judge at the time to go and live with his mother in Rochdale.
