Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has said he has already written and demoed the majority of the band's next album.
But Gallagher told Detroit News that he may promote his own solo material before releasing the follow-up to 2008's 'Dig Out Your Soul'.
"It's already done. It's already written. It's already demoed,” Gallagher said of the band's next album.
But he added: "I'm gonna take a bit of time off after this [the 'Dig Out Your Soul' tour]. I think I might do something for myself, maybe.”
The guitarist has often spoken about his ambition to release a solo project – and last year performed a series of solo shows around the world.
However, in a recent interview he said his commitment to the rock band has so far prevented him from finding the time to record an album.
