US R&B star Ne-Yo has claimed he has been asked to write new material for Marilyn Manson.
Ne-Yo, who has written songs for Britney Spears and Whitney Houston, told PageSix that he was set to work with Manson over the coming weeks.
But a spokesperson for the rock star has denied the claims, saying the pair have never spoken,
Ne-Yo said: "I'm sitting down next with Marilyn Manson so we can write songs for his new album.
"I don't have any preconceived notions about what he is musically, the clothes he wears, none of it."
But Manson's spokesperson told MTV News that his client had “no immediate pants to work with him”.
Ne-Yo also recently claimed that he was working on Michael Jackson's forthcoming studio album.
