A man who taped and then sold video footage of Amy Winehouse allegedly taking drugs has been jailed for two years.
John Blagrove and his partner Cara Burton admitted offering to supply drugs to the singer at a party in East London in January.
The couple sold footage from the party, believed to have taken place at Winehouse's house, to The Sun newspaper for £50,000.
At Snaresbrook Crown Court yesterday (December 12th), Blagrove was sentenced to two years in jail, while Burton received a community order.
In the video footage, which was published by the newspaper in January, Winehouse could be seen apparently taking a cocktail of different drugs.
The singer was interviewed by police in connection with the tape but released without charge.
Her lawyer said that the singer admitted to taking drugs, believed to be crack cocaine and MDMA, “but she questioned what they were because they had no effect on her."
