Elvis Costello is to headline president-elect Barack Obama's inauguration concert in Washington DC next month.
Sting, Seal, Same Moore and film director Spike Lee will also appear at the Harman Center of the Arts on January 20th.
Speculation over which artists would be selected to appear has been rife since Mr Obama won the US elections last month.
The politician secured support from a wide demographic of musicians during his election campaign.
As previously reported on Gigwise, US rappers Ludacris and Big Boi from Outkast have outlined plans for an Urban Ball to coincide with the inauguration.
The rappers, both passionate supporters of the Democrat, will host a party at Washington DC's Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
