Michael Jackson is to auction the glitter glove he wore in his video for 'Billie Jean' as part of an extensive sale of his personal property.
More than 2000 lots, including the gates from his former Neverland home, will make up a five day auction next April.
Some of the proceeds from the auction, which will be broadcast live on the Auction Network, will go towards the MusiCares charity.
The organisation was founded by the the Recording Academy to help musicians in need.
Fans will be able to view the memorabilia before the auction begins on April 21st.
Although Jackson remains one of most recognisable stars in the world, he has been plagued by financial trouble since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
Earlier this year the singer was forced to surrender ownership of his Neverland Ranch in California, which had been his home since 1987.
Last month, he agreed an out of court settlement with the second son of the King of Bahrain, who accused Jackson of reneging on a recording contract.
