In their only live event of the summer Groove Armada are set to headline this years Tribal Gathering Festival, however they may be relegated if Basement Jaxx agree to take part.
At this year’s special event, all artists are performing for free with all profits made going to the people in the Dafur region of Sudan.
Tom Findlay from Groove Armada is expecting more acts to join up and is hoping that the Jaxx will put in an appearance.
Speaking to 6Music he said: "Getting them on board would complete the circle and would be the first time we've ever played on the same stage as them, and they can headline if they want. I don't mind."
"In the aftermath of the tsunami disaster, the suffering of people of Darfur has all but been forgotten. The humanitarian crisis there is every bit as real as that which faced Ethiopia twenty years ago."
Tribal Gathering 2005 is being held at a secret location in Leeds on July 16. Tickets cost £39.
