Katy Perry has apologized for previous comments she made against Lily Allen about her weight.
Referring to herself as “a fatter version of Amy Winehouse and a skinner version of Lily Allen”, Perry prompted Lily Allen to slam the American singer on a recent appearance at Capital FM in the UK.
"Yeah, I made a joke about [that] earlier this year," stated Perry to Us Weekly.
"I was just kind of joking and trying to be funny," she continued. "I didn't mean anything by it.”
“Comedians are not necessarily to be taken super seriously."
