US rappers Ludacris and Big Boi from Outkast have outlined plans for an Urban Ball to coincide with the inauguration of president-elect Barack Obama.
The rappers, both passionate supporters of the Democrat, will host a party at Washington DC's Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on January 20th.
T-Pain, Lil Jon and Monica are expected to attend the event alongside NBA players.
According to MTV, a Legends Ball, curated by Dionne Warwick and Yolanda Adams, will also take place at the same venue on the same night.
Chaka Khan, Reggie Miller and George Clinton are all scheduled to appear.
As previously reported on Gigwise, an invitation to perform at Mr Obama's official ball has become one of the hottest tickets in the capital since the politician was elected last month.
Beyonce, Jay-Z, Fleetwood Mac and Shakira have all been linked to the event, although no guest have been confirmed.
