Take That, Girls Aloud and Kaiser Chiefs will all perform on the Top of the Pops Christmas special later this month, according to reports.
Pussycat Dolls, Duffy and Dizzee Rascal will also join this year's Christmas number one on the programme.
A decision to cancel the show, which has broadcast for over 40 years, was overturned last month following a public outcry.
Take That are scheduled to perform new single 'Greatest Day', as well as an extra “special” performance. The programme will be hosted by Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the BBC cancelled the Christmas show earlier this year because of falling viewing figures.
But the corporation later reinstated it, along with a New Years special.
The BBC has also faced renewed calls to revive the weekly edition of TOTP which dropped off the air after 42 years in 2006.
Take That's Mark Owen told the Sun newspaper: “Top Of The Pops is a national institution. It should come back every week.”
More acts scheduled to perform on the Christmas special will be announced over the coming weeks.
