Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has said work on the band's new album is “in the earliest stage possible”.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Williams said the group hoped to record the project in their home state of Tennessee.
"It's time to be home, and play music at home. I think we're really going to gain a lot from that,” she said.
Williams didn't give a time frame for the record, which will be the follow-up to 2007's 'Riot!'.
But she did reveal that the songwriting would be influenced by the much-documented personal issues the band experienced touring their last album.
"There are moments I didn't know what was going to happen, and I'm just proud of where we are now."
She added: “[There is] a lot to say this time round."
