US rapper Akon has accused football manager's Phil Scolari and Roy Keane of jealousy after they banned their players from attending his Christmas party.
Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba and two stars from Sunderland were personally invited to the £1million party later this month in Miami.
But the managers insisted that they stay in the country because of the traditional pile up of festive football fixtures.
Akon told The Sun: “I guess I kept them a bit too late last time. I think the coaches were jealous.”
The rapper is hosting the party alongside fellow hip-hop star Lil' Wayne.
The invite list is understood to include Kanye West, Leona Lewis and Michael Jackson.
