Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has hit out at Coldplay, saying he doesn't give “a shit about them”.
The singer also said that the band, fronted by Chris Martin, have only enjoyed success in US because Oasis don't appeal to Americans.
“I don't give a shit about them,” Gallagher told Loaded. "We are the coolest band and we are the best fucking band. We are the best fucking band. We are the most important band.”
Gallagher added that Coldplay's latest album, 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends', had only outsold Oasis' 'Dig Out Your Soul' in America because “we are fucking miserable”.
In a wide-ranging interview, Gallagher also said revealed his notoriously rocky relationship with his brother, Noel, had settled.
“Me and Noel get on well now. Beautiful. It's alright man, same as it always was, you know what I mean?” he said.
“It's a bit over-hyped, actually. There's a lot of hype surrounding me and our kids relationship'.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Coldplay and Oasis are both set to perform at Wembley Stadium next year on their own headline tours.
