Mark Ronson will produce Sir Elton John's next studio album, US media reports claim.
The pair are expected to go into the studio in the New Year to make the album, which will be released on the Universal/Republic label.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Ronson is currently working on a track with Amy Winehouse for a Quincy Jones tribute album.
Ronson insisted recently that the pair, who collaborated on Winehouse's second album 'Back To Black', are still go friends, despite reports which claimed they had fallen out while trying to record a song for the latest James Bond film.
Meanwhile, Sir Elton will play a special concert at the O2 Arena in London on New Years Eve.
The show, which will be produced by photographer David LaChapelle, comes a year after Take That staged a similar event at the venue.
