Strictly Come Dancing's John Sergeant To Release Christmas Single

Political commentator and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant John Sergeant is to release a Christmas single.

Sergeant has recorded a song with BBC One Show presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley.

'Let's Not Fight This Christmas' is due to be released on December 8th.

But Sergeant will have to rely on the army of fans that kept him in the dance competition if he is to claim the festive top spot from this year's X Factor winner.

Sergeant was forced to quit Strictly Come Dancing last month amid fears he may win the programme, despite being compared to a "dancing pig in Cuban heels" by one judge.

As previously reported on Gigwise, the X Factor winner will release a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' on December 15th.
