Britney Spears' Comeback Hits France

Britney Spears’ comeback continued yesterday (November 28th) with a special appearance on France’s Star Academy.

The singer performed new single ‘Womanzier’ on the programme dressed in a red corset and top hat.

It was Spears' second performance in two days following her appearance at the Bambi Awards in Germany on Thursday, where she was also named Best International Act.

The pop star, who releases new album ‘Circus’ on Monday (December 1st), will conclude her European publicity tour on tonight’s X Factor in the UK.

As previously reported on Gigwise, record companies are facing a race against time to get Spears' album into the shops after it fell victim to the collapse of Woolworths’ CD distribution branch Entertainment UK (EUK).

The company stopped deliveries earlier this week after the high street store was put into administration.
