Clash's 'London Calling' Photographer Honoured In London

The photographer who captured the iconic picture which is used on the cover to The Clash's 'London Calling' has been honoured in London.

Pennie Smith was given an outstanding contribution award at the Record of the Day Awards last night (November 27th).

Former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon presented Smith with the prize.

The Clash's 'London Calling' made it into the top-10 of Gigwise's Greatest Album Covers Of All Time poll.
