Amy Winehouse spoke with divorce lawyers yesterday (November 2th) amid reports she is set to leave her husband.
The singer is understood to have met with lawyers in hospital, where she has been receiving treatment since falling ill last weekend at her home in London.
According to the Sun newspaper, Winehouse's father, Mitch, arranged the meeting with lawyers.
Reports of a rift between Winehouse and Fielder-Civil emerged in a weekend newspaper, which quoted the singer as saying there was “no way back” for the couple.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse was admitted to hospital last Sunday after she suffered “a bad reaction” to a combination of prescribed medication.
Winehouse has suffered a string of illnesses throughout 2008, and was diagnosed with traces of the lung disease emphysema in June.
Earlier this week, Fielder-Civil lost an appeal against his prison sentence for assault of a pub landlord.
Winehouse's husband, who is currently undergoing a course of rehab in Surrey, told the court he was “disappointed but not really surprised".
