Leona Lewis will release her cover of Snow Patrol's 'Run' as a download-only single, it's been revealed.
The former X Factor winner's rendition had originally been scheduled two weeks ago but her record label shelved release plans at the last minute.
Following calls from fans, the Sun newspaper now claims that it will be released on Sunday (November 30th).
“The decision not to release the track caused a huge amount of negative feedback. Chiefs were stunned by the reaction. They’ve finally seen sense and bowed to pressure,” a source said.
Lewis performed the song for the first time in public earlier this month when she made a special return to the reality TV show.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Lewis's debut album 'Spirit' returned to the number one spot in the UK album charts last Sunday after it was re-released with additional tracks.
