Guns N' Roses fans crashed drinks company Dr Pepper's website yesterday (November 24th) as fans scrambled to claim their free drink.
Earlier this year, the drinks company promised to give everyone a free can if the band released their long awaited album before the end of 2008.
The album, which had been fourteen years in the making, was finally released last Sunday (November 23rd) in the US.
In a statement, Dr Pepper said they were extending their original offer, which had been due to end on the day of the album's release, because of demand.
The company added that former Guns N' Roses guitarists Slash and Buckethead “are not eligible for free soda.”
Fans will have a 4-6 week wait before their coupon arrives in the post, the company said.
