The moment we thought would never happen has arrived – Guns N' Roses have finally released 'Chinese Democracy'.

To mark this momentous occasion, Gigwise is taking a look back at Axl Rose and co.'s influential, erratic and often controversial career from the moment they formed in Los Angeles back in 1983 right up until this very day.

'Chinese Democracy' was released in the United States yesterday exclusively via Best Buy stores, while it went on sale in the UK earlier this morning. It's predicted to become one of the year's best selling albums. You can read Gigwise's verdict on the album right here
