Amy Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is to appeal against his prison sentence for an assault on a pub landlord.
Fielder-Civil was jailed for 27-months in July after he admitted admitted assaulting James King outside the Macbeth in East London in 2006 and perverting the course of justice.
The former TV runner was released from Prison earlier this month in order to begin a course of rehab, which is thought to be part of the terms for his earlier release.
His appeal will be heard by two judges in the Court of Appeal in London later today, according to the Associated Press.
When Fielder-Civil was handed his sentence at Snaresbrook Crown Court in East London last July, Judge David Radford told him he had acted in a "gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful" way.
He said Fielder-Civil had joined the attack on King "out of a mistaken sense of loyalty to your friend".
As previously reported on Gigwise, tabloid reports over the weekend claimed Winehouse has admitted that their marriage is over amid reports Fielder-Civil has begun dating a German model.
