Orbital will play their first show in five years at next year’s Big Chill Festival.
The dance duo – Phil and Paul Hartnoll – will headline the event, which takes place from August 7th-9th.
Orbital split in 2004 after establishing themselves as one of the pioneer acts in dance music.
Phil Hartnoll said the decision to reform was “not an exercise in nostalgia”. “The time just seems rights,” he added, pointing out that it will also coincide the group’s 20th anniversary.
Tickets for the festival go on sale on December 1st at 9am and will be available through Gigwise here.
