Paedophile Gary Glitter Appeals Against Travel Restraints

Convicted paedophile Gary Glitter has appealed against restraints which force him to inform police if he wants to travel abroad.

Glitter was served the order upon his return to the UK in August.when he was also forced to sign sex offenders register

The order does not prevent him from travelling abroad but means he must inform police if he plans to stay away for longer than three days.

Glitter was deported back to the UK from Vietnam after serving nearly three years behind bars for child molestation.

He was jailed in March 2006 for molesting two girls aged eleven and twelve. His sentence was reduced by Vietnamese authorities last year.
